Newsgroup was commissioned by the US Department of State and Siri Nyrop to provide coverage of the first democratic presidential elections in Afghanistan, on October 9th, 2004. We provided a 2-man crew and editing facility to rough cut about 1 1/2 hours of packages which were fed to London and Washington and were picked-up by more than 50 NewsMarket members.
